Re: New Build
Looks really good. And it should handle good also. I would move the antenna, if something happens to your rear end, you risk ripping the antenne wire out of your receiver. I normally put my antennas in fuel tubing and zip tie them on the chassis.
Re: New Build
Well after playing on the rocks for a few minutes at the last comp I burnt out the mini servo again. I hit up HobbyTown on my way back from the comp and picked up a couple of new servos. No mini servos. I am sick of burning them up all of the sudden. I also hit up procraft who gave me a piece of delrin so I could start working on a new mount. I just now found the time to sit down and do anything with it.
I ended up just ripping about a 1/4 by 1/4 strip of the Delrin to the right length. Then I cut the back of the factory plate out so that a full size servo would fit in. I also had to widen the mount just a hair. I then screwed the new strip of delrin into the back of the stock plate. I had to make a bit of a recess and should have made more. Now it has a full size JR 126MG servo for my dig. When the shocks are fully compressed it just barley touches my driveshaft so I don't think it will be a huge deal. I also mounted a 9100T servo on my steering. Should make a world of difference. I will be changing the voltage in my BEC soon but I am sleepy and heading for bed.
O yea and I also went ahead and ordered some of those Losi Yellow springs and put them on as well.
If you guys see or think of anything else I missed let me know. Lord knows I need the help. lol
