Well I spent a butt load of $$$ today to start the build of my new 2.2 comp rig. I will be building my own chassis so nothing on that yet but here are the parts I bought today.
2-Bully axles
2-45T Tekin hand wound motors
1-Tekin FX-R ESC
2-Radio shack micro switches (PT# 275-0016)
1-HS-55 servo (for micro switches)
1-HS-645mg for steering (for now)
Revo large rod ends (will be making my own links)
2-3S 2200Mah zippy Lipo's
still need a Castle BEC

I'm going to take photos of as much as I can so if you want to see something as I go just let me know.:p This is also the first project that I'm going to try and do all my own wiring except for the switch that Ryan wired into my TQ-3 .Props to Ryan(he is one of our gurus here in oregon). The radio will be up graded when funds allow and wife says I can.Smile

After hours of hair pulling, wire cutting, soldering, and re-soldering, and testing, tearing apart, and doing together again the RIGHT way, I finally got it!

So what is your chassis made of. Lexan. Does it flex any. Intersting chassis design.

Yes the chassis is lexan and also a nylatrol tray. Yes it flexes but it takes an impact well...(I've had good luck with it in the past), and out here, it's used often for builds.
Built servo mount and painted the body yesterday. The paint scheme is based off one of my wifes high school friends. School Daze Ride!!!!

How do you like the Bully axles? They look tough and it is nice that you can run axial offset wheels.

So far they seem pretty tough but haven't had much time to run them really hard yet. The things I do know is
1. screw holes could have used a tighter thread %age they are a little loose lock tight every thing good.
2. The knuckles are just a little loose too but not a major deal.
3. The ax-wheels fit ok but have to be spaced out about a 1/16" to keep from rubbing the links and shocks.Been told the Vanquish wheels with the med. offset work good on the front and the small offset on the back.
All that said they are so far a nice axle and being new to the market they will hopefully fix these little issues in the future runs. Oh and use a heavier grease in the gear sets a light diff grease works great. Very Happy

So those are the newest version with the V4 axles? They have out the Bully 1's and the Bully 2's.
