ROCKEDUP RICKY'S AKRCC ARES CHASSIS
ROCKEDUP RICKY'S AKRCC ARES CHASSIS
Thanks to Rocky and TC , I've had the fun of beening part of a Team in the making of what I think is a great chassis.
The 1st think that I liked was the many adjustment holes. Everybody has their own set for their driving style. And if you don't have a set-up of your own , this AKRCC Ares chassis has the adjustment holes to let you find one.
I love the skid plate with it's center groove , I'm learning to use this groove to hang on to the rocks with it, really helps to keep your line. It's killer.
With skid plate going under the side plates, it keeps the metal off the rocks for a slicker ride.
The AKRCC Ares has a nice low profile. I'm using the R2D and it just fits.

I made this battery tray for the back axle. And a servo/ESC tray for the front.
I support a Team. Team Avery, It's my 2 sons and I. I build them and they drive them. They both run shaftys. I run a MOA. Team Avery will be running the AKRCC chassis both shafty and moa. After putting this rig together and driving it I sold on the versatility of the chassis. I drove this for a little while and I'm not sure which one to run
Here' a little video of my boys 1st run with it.

You was lucky enough to buy one from one of the guys who won one. He shouldn't have sold it. I know you going to love it.dustin keeler wrote:One Word "AWESOME". Loved everything about it especially the skid setup

Dave is really liking his chassis. At the last NWARC comp he made a climb on the last gate that only a few could do. When we set-up the course ,he said no way. I think only 3 out of 20 did it. We should have Jarred's chassis in a couple of weeks.
Here's a pic of Dave's AKRCC ARES that he'll be running this year.
