CRAWL SPOTS FOR 09
The 09 schedule is in the works. Before the 1st comp in Feb 09, we need to have the schedule locked in so everybody can plan for the year.
COMP SPOTS if you know of a comp spot thats worthy of 2.2 and supers , thats farily easy to get to , and have the right to be there. Pics with your rig in it for the scale of things a must.
We have Robbers cave , Broken Dam , and a few spots at Dinsey. Russ said he wants to show me a spot that we might like. So could be another spot at Disney. And maybe Indoor course at ENID.
Lets see some spots ,so they can be checked out to see if they are comp worhty. Get to work crew. I am ,I would love to find some new GOOD spots.

Re: CRAWL SPOTS FOR 09
I might be of some help. I have ran Disney 5-6 times a year for the last 9 years in a full scale. Ask Russ what area he's talking about. He knows me very well as OKIE ZUK. I also run Robber's Cave twice a year. Just ran it two weeks ago and can help with that area. I'm interested in seeing something here in OKC inside or outside. Maybe portable at Bass Pro Shop even.

You can run 1:1 at Robbers cave.
As far as Disney and The State park Robbers cave. We know where to go, Russ was talking about some place he made a road to for us. Not sure I live close and am planing to go there soon. We are looking for new comp worthy spots.

Not in the park, but south of Kinta and north of Wilburton and east of camp grounds. Also an area just south and east of camp grounds for 2.2 and not full size stuff.

I wheel Poteau and Clayton and there's a lot of stuff there and is closer to Arkansas. I hear there's plenty around Talahena park. There's several others, maybe we can visit in Enid Saturday. There's Hot Springs and Cass, Arkansas I wheel every year also. I'll be wheelin' Hot Springs later this month. I'll try to remember to bring pix.

Hot Springs and Cass is getting a little out of range for some from OKC as does OKC and Enid does for others. I know western Ark. has a lot to offer, but it needs to be explored. Mena probably has some areas too, but it's in that range of a long days drive for OKC.

Re: CRAWL SPOTS FOR 09
I have places all over with in 30 to 45 mins from home. There a ridge 2o mins from me that has 100 crawl spots. I don't go ther that much. I would love to find some crawl spots down the OKC area.
The spots we crawl are preety hard to beat.

No silly,Your our champ, now quit your crying and act like it.
I just haven't seen anything but good practis spots down there. What I was saying was just north and just east of me are a lot of good spots. I don't push for comps there because Broken Dam starts to get to be to far for the OKC guys.
The fake dams in springdale are cool. But thats 45 min pass my house. 1 1/2 hours east of my house Beaver lake. I could on and on with places farther away from OKC.
I've been poking around for a year ,trying to get a club started in NWA . I'd love to be able to comp twice a month. But most the people I have talk to are just bashers . With my 2 sons and I a hand full more it could happen.

I only say that b/c any further than Disney is pushing it for the ones coming from Ark. Remember, I'm not the only one.

You need to get your mom to check your spelling before you post.

Re: CRAWL SPOTS FOR 09
Been working in Tulsa all week. I just remembered Lake Keystone and Chandler Park as beening more centrally located to compete at. Also may not work out, but I'm trying to come up with locations. Like Enid, I think indoor or setup like a skate park outdoors would be nice to compete at. Note: not a skate park, but in a park type setting.

Re: CRAWL SPOTS FOR 09
From what the OKC tell me lake keystone and chandler park are just good practis spots. Park like setting would be nice. I went to a comp in MO. at a park like setting and the kids keep taking our gate markers and some fat lady wanted to stand in the course then got mad at us. Said the park is for everybody not just us.
I got some ideas on indoor course stuff. We'll talk more in ENID.
