...to find the weak link in any system.

I took the kids out while I was doing some testing today. I let Cortney (7yr old) drive for a few and she was doing really well. Then I let Kyle (4yr old) drive. He did pretty good for about 5 minutes. Then he stuck it to the floor. The truck ran up under a small over hand and it bound up one tire. Of corse being young he did not know better, so he stayed on it for a second. All I saw was the truck stop on a dime, all four tires stopped moving, and the motor was still going. After I got my hands back on it I found out that the transmission was stripped out. I managed to pick up some stock gears at the LHS. Just got finished doing heart surgery on it and it seems like it will recover on. Guess I need to get some steel gears. Spur would have been much easier to replace.
