My Axial AX-10 Kit Build Thread
Since I don't have all the upgrade parts for my kit build I decided to paint the body while waiting. I never have painted before, so this about drove me nuts! It came out ok I guess. It'll work for now. Here are some pictures:
Now if only I had parts!!!!!!!!!!!

The body looks good, But I would ditch that heavy rock grabbing body and get something that looks like its been on a severe diet if you know what I mean...

They look full size to me. Like Darkhorse said, you'll probably want a smaller body down the road. Nice paint job.

Well at work I only see half the body in the shots, the rest is off the side of the screen in the shots. But here on my laptop they are full size and you see the full body in all the shots. ?????? Laptop screen is even smaller than the one at work, so?

Re: My Axial AX-10 Kit Build Thread
OK guys here is some of the upgrades I have on the way for the build
Traxxas Gear Set 2070 & 2075 Servos(stripped out my Slash servo!)
Novak Rooster Crawler Brushed ESC
Novak Fifty-Five Crawler Brushed Motor
Axial Straight Axle 6x104 50mm(rear)
Axial Plastic Rear Axle Lockout (rear)
Axial HD Bevel Gear 38T Scorpion(both axels)
Axial Threaded Aluminum Pipe 6x101mm Scorpion(30* bent links)
Axial Heavy Duty Differential Locker(both axels)
Axial Driveshaft Rings Green(front shaft only)
Cheapbatterypacks 7 cell 1500 axel pack
Axial Universal Joint Set(front)
I have been reading/looking for all the info I can find about TCS Edge tuber. I am thinking that is going to be the next step.
Anyone running the Edge
Long weekend WITHOUT parts Guess this week is going to be busy building as soon as parts show up. Maybe have 1 week of drive time before the comp That should be entertaining for everyone else to watch

Re: My Axial AX-10 Kit Build Thread
I looked at the Edge and Warthog when I decided I was going to try out a tuber. For looks and easy build up I went with the Warthog. Seems to be a good build so far. I have not had time to get it on the rocks yet. If you make it to the comp Chad and I can put them side by side so you can see the differences. I don't know how well it will work yet but I guess we will see soon.

Finally got some parts in today!!! Have the front and rear axels done, most of the frame together. Going to build the shocks tomorrow night, install the driveshafts, motor, and build my dig unit. Still no battery pack or ESC! Hopefully they will show up tomorrow! Maybe test run this weekend! FINALLY PROGRESS!!!!!!!!

Made some progress today. Added Hitec HS-645 for steering, Novak 55T motor, mounted 7 cell pack, got a new body and painted it. Now, if only my ESC would show up!!!! Was suppose to of been here last Thursday, still hasn't showed. I'm ready to roll when it shows up.
