I think JBAZZ (JASON), Dustin Keeler, Or Deadeye could comment on this. They each have a LCC.

Re: losi comp crawler
MOA kit, 6 oz front 4 oz rear. I limited the shocks from axials spacers. Lose the wheels, they are to narrow or get some tcs wideners. Iam running eritex wheels and they get my width right at 10.5. No other changes on the chassis just moving it around in the holes offered.

Re: losi comp crawler
LCC, Novak Goat 3s, 21.5 crawler motor (wanting 13.5 or maybe lower), stock wheels (I noticed some advantages over the weekend being narrower than others) 6oz weight each front wheel 3oz each rear wheel, white losi memory foam is a must, fresh shock oil is a must I've got 45fr 30rr, shock limiters will be a nice touch, suspension and linkage is all in stock locations for now, regularly clean and grease diffs. if you ever have any questions just hollar at me.

Re: losi comp crawler
Mine is still in the box. After Crawl-A-Palooza I'll know which way I'm going.

Re: losi comp crawler
I just acquired a NIB LCC through a trade on RCC. It was on the porch when I got home. I mocked it up with a CC Sidewinder, CC Bec, Novak 55t, and 12t pinion. Don't have a dig servo for it yet, however, i'm heavily considering Eritex's MOA kit for it. I'm going to tear it down and do a better job on the wiring and what not once I get my order of Gearjelly. It has the new gears and CVD's in it already also. Think i'll sell the stock wheels and tires and get some Eritex or ask for some Vanquish wheels for Christmas

Re: losi comp crawler
MOA is the only way to go. I have 35t on mine with a 3c lipo and love it. The only problem I have is that when the clod stall happens it locks up because the worms. Iam getting used to it now though. I have a nice Hitec micr servo with steel gears that I ran in mine if you are coming to palooza we may work out a deal

Re: losi comp crawler
well i got mine up and going. here is the low down on it. tekin rs esc 17.5, 3s lipo, 2.4 ghz radio, jr racing servos, everything else is stock for now. i also just got the losi night crawler and it seems to climb just as good as the lcc. but i am putting all the metal parts of a com crawler on it to see how it does. so i guess when all is done it would be more a comp crawler who knows.

Re: losi comp crawler
I'm still wanting to build a bully 2 based rig, so i'm trying to keep cost down. With the worm gears needing so much friction, will 2 integy 45t motors work with MOA setup with the CC sidewinder? I have one 45t V11 so one more will be in the budget if I get the MOA kit and later on a punkrc dig. The 55t I had with 12t pinion was terrible. No wheel speed at all. I put the 45t with 16t pinion in witha 3c lipo and it picked up a bit, but it's louder than a jet engine.
Side note: Did some crawling outside the house today with just 4wd and no dig and these crawl really good out of the box. A lot better than a stock Axial for sure.

Glad to help.
I ran 2-45t for a while on my lcc/moa on 3 cell lipo and it worked well. I now have some 35s and love it

Re: losi comp crawler
Found the MOA kit for sale on RCC for cheap and was lucky enough to snag it. I'm thinking now, from reading up and what Dustin has said, that I may just stick with Losi as my Pro-Comp rig with MOA. Lots of good feedback on them once everyone has switched to MOA. Still deciding on the a radio though

Re: losi comp crawler
Find you a nice used old school DX3. Not the DX3.0. I found mine for 100.00 on RCC and it has all the right features. I hva a JR radio that is just like the DX3 except it is FM lying around here that I can trade or sale you.

Re: losi comp crawler
I have 2 Jr Xs3 pros they just dont have a 3p 3rd channel. I think i'm leaning towards the Futaba. It's only 30 bucks more than the one you just found and it already has a 3p 3ch. I will search though for an old school Dx3. Thanks
