COMP 4 and 5 @ DISNEY/ Camp and Comp

May 16th and 17th will be our Camp and Comp weekend at DISNEY.
Saturday is the 4th comp of the series and Sunday is the 5th comp of the series.
This should be a great weekend. I've been talking with some of the other clubs around about joining us. Some of the KC guys, SMRCRC , STlouis, NWARC, ARKLAMISS are planning on coming. I'm going to get ahold of Don's (DNA) bunch to see if they want to come.


We'll meet up at hogan's camp ground, between 9:00 and 10:00. Then go to the comp site.

10:00 start building courses
10:00 to 10:45 sign ups
10:45 Drivers meeting
11:00 comp starts

So is everone camping at Hogan's? What kind of beer you guys drink. I will bring some 5% from up here.

Heck yeah, Im camping for sure.. Oh and Bud Light FTW

We'll be there Friday evening. Debating if we should pull the camper down. Extreme 4x4 is having their Novice run the same weekend, so the camp grounds are going to be packed.

What classes is everyone running?

I got my 2.2 finished tonight, well not finished but, close, it runs, and does what its supposed to, just the cosmetic stuff isn't finished. I also picked up a MRC today, so I'll be running 1.9 as well. Hopefully I can get my Mini Sling Shot before this weekend and assemble it.

The novice run has been there the last two years.

I was looking at lake levels. Currently Grand is 8 ft and rising and that's pretty high for Grand. They have all the gates set to be open all week. Think that will effect us in any way? Especially if we get more rain like they say will happen

I talked to Russ today and little Blue will be open and most likeily the waterfall will be open. He said we'll be able to do something at the big Dam.

There is plenty of space there to crawl no matter what. I am looking forward to this weekend. Ricky Ill be bringing my 1.9 also

I 've been watching the weather and it looks like it might be raining on saturday morning. So we might get a late start. Sunday is looking good. They have gates open on little blue(crawlapalooza 2 spot) and they have gates open on the water fall ( crawlapalooza 1 spot). So our 2 best spots are under water.
Talk to Russ today and he said the Valcano was good and the rock garden was good. Not as good as the other spots ,but OKRCRC needs to do these comps for the Nats qualifying.

I really just wanted to let the out of staters know whats up so they can make their call on weather to come or not. Thing will be a little wet and our 2 best spots are not reachable. But there is places to crawl and we will.

Well I finally quit my job and I am still not sure if I can make it on Saturdays any more. Jeniffer's schedule changed at work and I am not sure how I would get there and get her to work. Not sure about Sunday either yet. Looks like I might miss these two.

Iam leaving for okc in the morning. There is loads of places in the first spill way that will work awesome for you all. Have fun and kick some butt for me.

Me too. I'll be right near 35 and 44 so maybes there will be some nice spots near there. I hope to make the next comp. I've missed to many.
