You still have to have a series or you lose you invites.

Doesn't really seem fair that a club that is hardly going gets 2 spots and there's clubs with 60 to 100 people all trying to get 2 spots. There's 5 clubs in MO all going for 2 spots.

Being on the club approval committee. I hear about how it isn't fair all the time. I'll probly hear about this if the right person reads it.

OKRCRC club was easy to get in, we just said sign me up and we were IN. It's not like that any more. There was guys just making up a club so that could get the invites.
So we had to make it harder to get your club in.
Now you have to have a 15 driver average for 8 comps in a 1 year period. I don't think OKRCRC as every done that.

There's a lot of clubs that are just a little short of the 15 driver average,and are good strong clubs with 14 driver average and they can't get in.
MO, has 5 clubs battling for 2 spots and there's other states like that too. Every one should look at what it takes to get a club in. I'm not picking on OKRCRC. I would and have said this on other sites.
There's ways around having to be recognized. ARK/LA/MISS took NWARC as a chater club. But most clubs don't get along like we do so I don't see that happen to often, even after I tried and be the inbetween.

I just want the clubs that were grandfathered in to appreciate what a lot of other clubs are working hard for.

No,I got us signed up and I did have to show comps and members then wait for approval. I don't think it was 15 people or 8 comps but I did have to show we had a group that was doing comps though. We are making every effort to get people involved and although many don't get on the boards we will do the required comps to qualify. As for me, its always been for fun and the enjoyment of seeing folks I really enjoy being around. We are very lucky to only have a few interested and we don't have other clubs in the state to compete against but it would be fun to be able to have 50 people in Okla. to comp with. I never minded driving so if we did have another group get involved,I would take time to go to their comps too. I even try to go see the Texas guys a few times a year. As for complaints,I don't dough it at all,going to big comps I have seen many. I don't know how or why anyone would want to put themselves in the complaint department but without the rules committee we wouldn't have RC Crawling so my hats off to ya.

The only reason I work with the rule committee and the club approval committee is for the love of the sport. It takes up alot of time to do them both, but I'm not a TV watcher ,so I read online. I spend couple hours a day doing it.

I sometimes read too.......Mostly i just look at the pictures though nand laugh at some of the comments you guys come up with

I didn't find anything funny on there, must of missed it.

But I went to the meeting about the offroad track in Fayettville, They suppost to have some rocks for a crawling course. But I don't think the NWARC guys are going to pay a club memebership of 50 bucks and the pay 10 bucks to go crawl on a rock pile. When we have spots all over for free.

It's a city park and the city lets them have the old BMX track. I think if it's a public park, why would I have to pay 10 bucks to the offroad club to comp on the rocks. Now that is funny.

That s the same problem i was thinking of of our local spot but when its hot and rainy things change....lol
