Comp # 7 again.

9:15 go to comp spot and build courses
9:45 draw for line up, ask questions, BS
10:00 start comp.

We'll be going to the new spot we were at last time.
There was a few new faces, hope yall come back.

Can't wait, I'm bringing my A-game, its on!

I hope to make this one. Couple of questions, though.

How long do they last? (I would like to bring my boys)
How accesible is the spot to lower vehicles?

Jbrentd, this place isnt really that friendly for cars....but Greg (ElkySS) will tell you otherwise. lol There is a pavillion at the top of the road where you could park and then ride down the hill with one of the other guys, im sure.

I think the last comp lasted until like 2 or so? The other guys will know the normal timeframe...i've just been to one complete comp. lol

I vote that the first course include the first gate of course #1, no one got passed it, but I believe it can be done.

If we could it would be cool for the course to go right up the crack.

yea I got my g6 all the way in and out last time. It probably was not good on it but I made it work and does not seem to have broke anything. I think next time I am going to park up top. And not get lost on the way there if I can.

Jeniffer and I have vacation approved for the comp. We will leave Tulsa early enough that if we get lost we will still make it there in time. Are we just going to meet up at the comp spot or back near where the 1:1's park like we did a while back.

We will bring the camcorder again this time and get some video of the comp BTW.

I would say you could follow me out of town but I got lost last time. I will have my co-pilot this time so I should be good. I think I am going to be driving out around 7:30. I should have plenty of room if you want to rid with.

And for anybody that cares... I am parking at the top this time and not going to drive down to the river. I told Jeniffer about that and she did not really get that mad. Though I think she will when she sees it.

Is everyone still planning on making it?

My truck is ripped apart and I haven't had time to put it back together yet, doing some minor repairs, installing some stainless rear axles, and trying to get my COG as low as possible. And the scaler is getting closer, I just need to get some upper link mounts and I need some time to put it together.

I'm planning on being there.

I plan to make it. It's cool if I bring my two boys, right?

Driving Directions

From Tulsa:

Take I-44 East toward Joplin (28 miles).
Take Adair exit, Exit# 269.
Turn Left onto highway OK-28 going East.
Follow highway OK-28 into Langley.
At 'Y', turn right (South). OK-28 merges with OK-82.
Follow OK-28/OK-82 approximately 2 miles, then turn left on OK-28.
Follow OK-28 across Grand Lake dam and into Disney OK.

Correct, As soon as you cross the damn, a sign for hogans is on your right, and just follow it down the road
