Little brats, where was their parents. Laughing At the NWARC indoor course we got signs saying no walking on rocks. Don't tell anybody but I have walked on them just to see what it would do. They didn't crack.
What that one made out of and hows the traction.

Cool. the 1st time I went up there , I was talking to the owner, whats his name about my idea. And he looked at me like I was a dumbass. Laughing I'm glad he's coming around. Pile of rocks gets boring real fast don't it. You guys do that and you can have a new course everytime.

Ok Cool I think I will be able to make it Saturday... I might be there some Thursday &/or Friday night. I have got to put some weight in my new tires before I run again... I picked up some singles from a local tire dealer but do you know where I can get some free weights?

Ok thanks! I put them on last night & ended up having enough to load the front. I tested it out & that helped a lot but I still need some for the back wheels... I'll try Napa. Thumbs up

Most everyone I know of currently are not running weight in the rears to climb better but on a losi with the worm gears and not much wheel speed a person might want it to keep it planted on downhills Smile

Re: Enid R/C Speedway Indoor Course. (Remodeling)

Post by whittenm on Wed Mar 17, 2010 4:07 pm

Well right now the only reason I am thinking about weighting the back is because of the battery. Currently I am running a standard 7.2V NiCad. I am not putting $ into the LiPo because of the expense of the battery as well as the changer... maybe once I spend the $ for that then I can remove the weights... The next purchase I want to make is on a servo! The ONLY thing I don't like about the night crawler that comes stock is the servo... specs are only 56.9 oz-in @ 6V. I have already run into situations that if I had a more powerful servo I could have gotten out of some places...
