What else can I do? I'm planning on judging as much as I can this year. If I can make it, I work 7 days a week, literally.

Also guys, if you happen to pass by a trophy/sign shop that can make us plaques, please stop in and ask them if they want to sponsor us with some plaques. We'll get a banner made and put their name on it.

1, Rick, You have made the 09 schedule, And I agree with sticking to it.

2. Charlie, You me and some of the enid and local guys that are closer to these areas can make organize some GTG's and meet and greets with the guys that are south..

3. Brian, It does get really packed down there, But that is nothing that we cant overcome.. I remember Russ, saying that he would help us where to set our courses that way we dont interfere with the 1:1, Plus it will get some of those guys interested in RC crawling.. Audience!!!

4. Shaun, You have done a great job keeping this board running, And your not done doing anything bro.> Just keep up the good work.. As for as tropheys and plaques, I already have this taken care of this year.. I am having the stuff made..

I have been to Disney wheeling nearly 2x a month. The rigs usually only go to the water fall, little blue, Viagra, and the chili bowl. Most of the other rigs go to the Trenches and the hill climbs across the river. I can think of several places near the water fall and little blue that would work awesome for us, and still be way out of the way from the big rigs. My main concern now is were to put all the spectators. j/k:D

My guess is you either havn't been to medicine park or you havn't done any RC crawling.There is no rock consistently and the place is full of stickers.



WOW, I fell asleep with my computer on and look what has gone on. My 2 cents is leave the schedule alone this year and I bet more input will be put in next year. I just found out about all this R/C stuff in October and am learning how all this stuff works. So I wasn't much help with input. I do remember Ricky asking for input for more locations and I gave some input, such as Medicine Park and Lawton areas. Then is when others should have kicked in and that's why I say leave the scheddule as is. Besides I have a few here wanting to get into the sport and have shown them the schedule and they got more excited. As for Disney, most of you have NO idea how busy it will be but I say let's stick with going and I bet the club will pick up some new competitors.

I have asked Russ before on us staying out of the way of the 1:1s and he told me that they are our rocks too,1st come 1st serve. There's lots of places we can comp and not be in there way. It will be great exposure for us.
He told me once that he had a place we might be interested in and he would even make a road to it. I'll try and get up there before March 14th and talk to him about it. If anyboby else is going there soon, maybe you could talk to him about it.

Im ready, I just went and picked up my new DX3R and hour ago since the last one never worked.. But im having a hell of a time figuring out all the adjustments. I have very little reverse, and now my steering servo just got parkinsons disease.. oh and my I dont know how to make my dig work or adjust it..

No it's comp 3, comp 2 got rained out. Thats like saying it rained monday so tueday is really monday. Just be quiet.

Read the book and it will click and become easy. I was confussed at 1st too. Not as long as you'll be but I was. If you still have trouble get here a little early and Brain will help you ,Ok I will too.

Try setting your endpoints on the AUX real low for the dig. Allow the least movement, then go up from there. I just listened to my servo hum and set the endpoints to where it didn't hum. You can set lockout a little tighter being it won't be in lock for long and you shouldn't burn it up.

Reverse, try setting your endpoints higher or set to 100% and reset it.

Servo freakout, not sure about that one, but I have seen others do that too. As long as it was on the ground, they were fine.

Ok, i got the throttle and steering working correctly.. I just cant get the dig to move at all. I tested the servo, and its fine, And I have channel E set as my 3 position aux.. But its still a no go.. Any more tips?

Yeah, Chad called me last night cause I was having a hell of a time figuring out how to set up my dig, And he walked me right through it. I like the DX3r, Its light and very responsive. So I brought my rig with me here to work, And Ive been able to do some more programming, and making a hybrid foam setup for the front of my rig. Well see if I can make something happen this weekend.. I cant wait..
